【作品説明】
世界は常に対比の上に成り立っています。
光と影、白と黒、天と地、喜びと悲しみ、善と悪──そして「真実」と「嘘」。
私が描く“透かしホオズキ”は、この「真実と嘘」の対比をテーマにした作品です。
ホオズキは、中の丸い実が見えないことから「嘘」や「ごまかし」という花言葉を持っています。
しかし枯れると葉脈だけが残り、隠されていた実があらわになります。
その姿は、まさに“隠し事のない真実”そのものだと感じています。
丸見えになった丸い実は、私にとって“人の心”を表しています。
ホオズキの丸い実をヒマワリにする事で心の
豊かさ、優しさ、誠実、平和、発展という世の中に対する希望を表しています。
情報が溢れ、何が真実で何が嘘か見えにくくなった現代だからこそ、
自分の心に、他者に、そして社会に対して誠実であることの大切さを伝えたい。
透かしホオズキは、そんな“真実の実”を描くための象徴となっています。

Artist Statement
人間に対して生命がささやく小さな声____。
” 目に見えないもの”、” かすかな存在の気配”
見過ごされがちな世の中への声を絵というカタチで可視化したいと考えています。
メインモチーフの透かしホオズキは『真実』をテーマに作成しています。

【Artwork Description】
The world is built upon contrasts.
Light and shadow, white and black, heaven and earth, joy and sorrow, good and evil —
and ultimately, “truth” and “falsehood.”

The transparent physalis (hozuki) that I depict is a motif representing this contrast between truth and lies.

The physalis is associated with meanings such as “deception” or “falsehood,”
as its round fruit is hidden from view.
However, when it withers, only the delicate veins remain, revealing the fruit that was once concealed.

To me, this form embodies the idea of truth without concealment.

The fully exposed round fruit represents the human heart.
By transforming the physalis fruit into a sunflower,
I express hope for the world — hope for richness of heart, kindness, sincerity, peace, and growth.
In an age overwhelmed by information, where it has become increasingly difficult to distinguish truth from falsehood,
this work seeks to convey the importance of being sincere —
to oneself, to others, and to society.
The transparent physalis thus becomes a symbol for depicting the “fruit of truth.”

【Artist Information】
A small voice of life whispering to humanity.
I seek to visualize, through painting, things that are invisible — subtle presences and quiet signs —
voices that are often overlooked in our world.
My primary motif, the transparent physalis, is created with the theme of “truth.”

【작품 설명】
세상은 언제나 대비 속에서 존재합니다. 빛과 그림자, 흰색과 검정, 하늘과 땅, 기쁨과 슬픔, 선과 악── 그리고 ‘진실’과 ‘거짓’.
제가 그리는 투과된 호즈키(透かしホオズキ) 는 이 ‘진실과 거짓’의 대비를 주제로 한 작품입니다.
호즈키는 안에 있는 둥근 열매가 보이지 않는 모습에서 ‘거짓’이나 ‘속임수’라는 꽃말을 지니고 있습니다. 그러나 말라가면 잎맥만 남고, 그동안 숨겨져 있던 열매가 드러나게 됩니다.
그 모습은 마치 아무것도 숨기지 않은 진실 그 자체라고 느껴집니다.
완전히 드러난 둥근 열매는 저에게 있어 인간의 마음을 상징합니다. 그 둥근 열매를 해바라기로 표현함으로써, 마음의 풍요로움, 따뜻함, 진실함, 평화, 그리고 발전이라는 세상에 대한 희망을 담았습니다.
정보가 넘쳐나 무엇이 진실이고 무엇이 거짓인지 구분하기 어려운 현대 사회이기에, 자신의 마음에, 타인에게, 그리고 사회에 대해 성실하고 정직하게 살아가는 것의 중요성을 전하고자 합니다.
투과된 호즈키는 그러한 **‘진실의 열매’**를 그리기 위한 상징적인 모티프입니다.

인간을 향해 생명이 속삭이는 작은 목소리── ‘눈에 보이지 않는 것’, ‘희미한 존재의 기척’. 쉽게 지나쳐 버리기 쉬운 세상의 목소리를 회화라는 형태로 시각화하고자 합니다. 메인 모티프인 투과된 호즈키는 **‘진실’**을 주제로 제작하고 있습니다.
